Tina Crandell has been a registered yoga teacher since 2014. In a twist of fate, she left her corporate job in 2013 and followed a path that led her to study under Lynn Matthews in Annapolis, Maryland. Since that time Tina has continued to cultivate her teaching skills through study and practice, and by working with students of diverse ages and backgrounds. In addition to her professional RYT 500 designation she has received certifications in the Integrative Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra Professional Training and Yoga Nidra Advanced Training and is highly-qualified to facilitate classes in the Amrit Method of Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Most recently Tina started work towards the Amrit Yoga Therapy Program.

Tina is grateful for the opportunity to connect to all types of people through the beautiful tradition of yoga. She has built her career on providing an authentic yoga experience for students within – and outside – of a traditional yoga setting. Her experience includes offering group instruction at studios around the Baltimore metro area and maintaining a portfolio of private and corporate clients. She is the staff Yoga Instructor for the Skipjacks Hockey Academy, an independent program based in York, PA, that fields U16 Futures, U16, U18, and a Premier Junior A Team competing in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL). Tina has worked within local public schools where she has taught hundreds of Pre-K through 8th graders compassion, focus, self-esteem, and how the breath improves the function of the brain. She regularly offers Yoga Nidra workshops around the region, and has frequently facilitated Yoga Nidra sessions at an Addiction Treatment Center where she was witness to the sincere benefits of yoga. Most recently Tina has partnered with The Center for Trauma, Stress, and Anxiety in Bel Air, Maryland, to offer sessions in yoga and meditation. In all of her endeavors, Tina’s approach to teaching yoga remains mindful and inspirational. She understands that absolutely anybody can practice yoga and her intention is to support her students through their journey to finding inner peace.

Tina earned her B.A. in Art History from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She lives, laughs, and loves in a little row house in beautiful downtown Baltimore with her husband and two little yogis.
